Part-time job (general research assistance)

Through part-time work, you can experience the atmosphere of a university laboratory. In European and American universities, undergraduate students learn about university laboratories by working part-time as Research Assistants / Lab Assistants. In the Tanabe Laboratory for Photonic Structures, we have decided to recruit a wide range of part-time general research assistants from inside and outside of the university so that motivated students can experience such opportunities.
Eligibility:
1st to 4th year undergraduates of this school and nearby universities who are in good academic standing. Applicants should be enrolled in a science or engineering department.
Business Description:
General research assistance (mainly routine work). Specifically, evaluation of characteristics of optical device elements. Polishing of optical elements. Job management of calculation programs, etc.)
Number of applicants:
A few people, recruitment at any time, will be closed as soon as the maximum number of students is filled.
  • Hourly wage: According to Keio University regulations
  • Location: Keio University, Yagami Campus
  • Working days: Once a week as standard (days of the week are negotiable)
  • Maximum hours worked: 20 hours/month
  • Treatment: No transportation expenses paid.
