Collaborations & Research Projects
Because of our world-class technology, we are actively engaged in numerous collaborative research projects that make use of our technology. Today's research and development is highly specialized, so instead of each research institute pursuing development independently, collaborative research across research institutes and national borders will improve our competitiveness.
- Only One Technology
Tanabe Laboratory has the world-class Only One technology, which allows us to collaborate with many research institutes.
Although we can be involved in large national level projects, we aim to be a laboratory that is not one of the cogs in the wheel, but at the center of it. For this reason, we provide students with a thorough education at the stage of their fourth year, when they are engaged in their graduation research. After acquiring a solid understanding of their own technologies, students are encouraged to go out and conduct collaborative research both domestically and internationally.
