Professor Tanabe Will Deliver an Invited Talk at ASSL 2026

A microcom is a light source that generates multiple wavelengths from a compact optical resonator. In this presentation, we will introduce research results in optical signal processing and terahertz communications that leverage the microcom’s multi-wavelength and low-noise characteristics. We will explain our efforts to expand the applications of the microcom across a wide range of fields, from optical parallel processing to high-speed communications.

The presentation will be given at the Advanced Solid State Lasers Conference (ASSL), to be held in Vilnius, Lithuania, from October 11 to 15, 2026.
