Microcom Enhances the Efficiency of Terahertz OFDM Communications (Presentation at CLEO-PR)

In terahertz-band OFDM communications, increasing the number of pilot signals used for phase noise compensation reduces the communication resources available for data transmission. In this study, we investigated a method for ensuring transmission quality while minimizing the burden of pilot signals by utilizing Microcom’s low-phase-noise technology. This research combines the performance of light sources with signal processing to improve the efficiency of high-capacity terahertz communications.

These results were presented by Bowen Liu at CLEO-PR 2026, held in Beijing.
