Comparison of Orthogonal Modulation Schemes for Terahertz Wireless Transmission Utilizing the Entire Optical Comb (The Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers)
Full-com modulation, which effectively utilizes the optical output of a microcom, is a method that leads to highly efficient terahertz wireless transmission. In this study, we focused on the differences in orthogonal modulation schemes used in all-com modulation and compared their transmission characteristics. These results represent our investigation into suitable modulation schemes for high-speed, high-capacity communication that leverages the characteristics of optical coms.
These findings by Mr. Tando and his colleagues were presented at the IEICE Society Conference held at Hokkaido University from September 23 to 25, 2026.
